It’s a sad day for fans of animal spokes…persons?

It seems that every time we turn around, another beloved celebrity is passing away. Today, it is with heavy heart that we report yet another celebrity death.

Gidget, the cute little Chihuahua made famous in Taco Bell commercials for the phase “Yo quiero Taco Bell,” (”I want Taco Bell!”) passed away last night from a stroke at the age of 15.She'd lived in comfortable semiretirement since the heyday of the Taco Bell advertising campaign, occasionally making cameo appearances.

Gidget, the Chihuahua best known for her appearance in Taco Bell commercials, also played the role of Bruiser’s mom in the 2003 movie Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blue.

According to Gidget’s trainer, Sue Chipperton, the dog spent her retirement days laying in the sun. Sue Chipperton described the diminutive dog as a consummate professional on the set in an interview earlier this year with People Pets. But, she said, Gidget had been the victim of typecasting, which limited her career choices (or, rather, Chipperton's choices on her behalf).

Although her career waned in recent years, Gidget (and her catchphrase) remained a well-known pop-culture footnote of the 1990s. "She made so many people happy," Chipperton told People Pets.

Gidget was with Chipperton watching television when she began making strange noises and suffered a stroke. The dog “had a good day and was running around as normal,” said her owner, Karen McElhatton. “We’re happy that she was very well off right until the end.”

Erin Andrews video spreads virus

If you happen to come across a website that claims to feature video footage of ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews naked, whatever you do, don't click on it.

Andrews was recently videotaped undressing through a hotel room peephole, and clever hackers are using the demand for the salacious vid to spread a computer virus, according to anti-virus and security company Sophos.

Graham Cluley, a senior technology consultant at Sophos, a computer security company, told CNN that the viral video of Erin Andrews gives hackers an opportunity to compromise Mac and PC machines.

Taking advantage of what was a highly-searched topic over the weekend, many sites set up links advertising the video, even after ESPN, Andrews' employer, and her lawyer put forth a strong legal effort to get all traces of the real video taken offline with threats towards anyone who published it.

"Hackers are no slacks when it comes to taking advantage of a hot Internet search trend. And they have been quick to set up bogus Web pages claiming to contain the video footage of Ms. Andrews in her hotel room," said Graham Cluley.

It’s unclear how many people have been infected with the virus or if computers have been harmed by the incident, Cluley said. The virus gets on computers when people try to play the video of Andrews, he said. A message asks Internet users to download a video player and a virus instead infects their machines, he said.

Cluley urged people not to look for the clip.

“If you want to look at naked women buy yourself an adult magazine or go and get yourself a girlfriend,” he said. “Searching on the Web is a really dangerous thing to do.”

The video is flying across the Web on social networks, Cluley said, adding that shortened Web links, such as those from tinyurl.com and bit.ly, add to the problem because Internet users can’t tell where the links go until they click them.

TMZ says the video is being shopped to the highest bidder, but the site has stated that it will not publish or purchase the footage.

The person(s) responsible for the video and its subsequent publication has yet to be identified.

American television personality and host of the CBS reality show “Big Brother” is pregnant, according to reports from examiner.com. Viewers, who tuned in to see the premiere of “Big Brother11” last night, may have been able to see she has put a slight bit of weight on.

Julie shares the gender of her unborn baby to Craig Ferguson on ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson’. She was there to promote the eleventh season of the famous show Big Brother. “Big Brother 11″,

Julie Chen has an experience of 14 years, as a newscaster. She is better known as a famous television personality but she is also journalist and a producer for CBS.

And apparently Julie, who is the wife of CBS President Les Moonves, has revealed that she knows the gender of the baby and the happy couple are expecting a boy.

Chen and Moonves married in Deecember of 2004. Their baby will born in early October, just after ‘Big Brother 11′ winds up. She is also the co-host of ‘The Early Show’ on CBS. She is been a part of the United States version of the reality show, “Big Brother”.

She is also the stepmother of Adam, Michael and Sara.

For those of you who wanted to see the Richard Jefferson Wedding, I’m sorry to say, it won’t happen anymore.Former New Jersey Net star Richard Jefferson was set to marry his fiancee, beautiful dancer Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols, in eleven hours when he decided to change his mind.

The bride had time to call her family and friends but the former New Jersey Net player only alerted some of his friends a couple of hours before the ceremony.

A family friend says Nichols, who called her family immediately when she learned Jefferson was bailing, was “not entirely caught off-guard,” by Jefferson’s sudden change of heart.

A friend says: “He called about two hours before the wedding. It was nuts.”

The reason so call off the wedding is unknown, but Kesha was not completely caught off-guard because of Richard’s strange behavior, according to an insider. “She just wants to keep this as quiet as possible and move on. She’s doing just fine.”

President Obama has been making plenty of pitches to the American people and the Congress recently. But none may be as important as the one he makes tonight from the mound at the All-Star Game.

It will be Obama's first opening pitch as president and the kind of moment that television loves, if only for the possibility of a screw-up -- a wimpy throw or a wild pitch that goes awry.

Arriving in St. Louis, Obama descended the stairs of Air Force One with baseball legend Willie Mays by his side. It was Mays's first trip aboard the presidential plane, he told reporters as he spoke emotionally about Obama's election."I reminded him that I dreamed about this day," Mays said of his conversation with the president. "Not being on Air Force One, but dreamed about someone in my race being president. Not knowing that anyone would be. But I reminded him that I cried for most of the[election] night in Chicago."

Mays, who met up with Obama in Detroit, told reporters that he gave Obama just one tip for his first pitch: "Follow through."

Wearing a Chicago White Sox jacket, jeans and sneakers, and cheered by the sellout crowd at Busch Stadium, Obama walked out of the National League’s dugout on the first-base side, shook hands with Cardinals Hall of Famer Stan Musial and trotted to the mound. Obama threw lefty and didn’t have much heat on the looping toss, but Albert Pujols stepped up and made the catch before the ball hit the dirt and President Obama gave a fist pump. He gave it his best shot.

Obama is the seventh President to appear at an All-Star Game, but only the fourth to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Check out the video below

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell stepped out into the sunshine with their twins, Dolly and Charlie, in El Lay this weekend made a rare public appearance with their twins.

They took a stroll in LA earlier this week, and each were armed with one of their adorable twins.The “Carpoolers” stud and his “X-Men” wife showed off their twin girls Dolly and Charlie while out and about in Calabasas, California, smiling for the paparazzi.

Jerry recently revealed on Live with Regis and Kelly that his arms are starting to get huge from carrying the girls.

“My biceps are getting huge because I’m just lifting them both at the same time. I’m going to be [Arnold] Schwarzenegger by the time they’re one.”

Charlie and Dolly are almost seven months old now, and the foursome looked like a perfect family portrait as they enjoyed the sunshine. This Fall Rebecca will return to the small screen in The Witches of Eastwick, but for now she's soaking up plenty of time with her growing babies.
